About Stabler and Guy Ltd
Stabler and Guy Ltd is a construction consultant that offers building surveying services and chartership coaching for the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Assessment of Professional Competence (APC), the Chartered Institute of Builders (CIOB) Professional Review (PR) and other institutional memberships.

At Stabler and Guy Ltd we believe if it takes a village to raise a child - it also takes a small band of Surveyors and/or Project Managers to help an individual to achieve chartership status.
Support is paramount. Achieving chartership whilst trying to exceed at work can be daunting and difficult. By breaking the requirements (and documents!) down into manageable bite-sized pieces, the journey can be mapped out and no longer a difficult hill start.
No one likes a long car journey without a few games to occupy you - and the chartership journey doesn't have to be any different. We have a few games and quizzes up our sleeves to keep your learning lively and anything but dull.
Stabler and Guy Ltd also conduct a variety of Building Surveying services including defect diagnosis, a plethora of building surveys, Contract Administration and Party Wall Matters, providing high quality service and advice to Clients.
Meet Carrie
Carrie is bonkers about buildings and passionate about people.

A Chartered Building Surveyor, Carrie, Stabler and Guy Ltd's founder and Director, has worked for a range of different companies in her career, all the way from a 5-man band up to the construction consultancy giants.
​
With 15+ years post graduation experience (and a little more on top of that before and whilst studying), Carrie has a wide variety of project and Building Surveying experience under her belt.
​
Carrie has been supporting RICS APC candidates since 2016 and set up APC structured training at her previous three employers before making the change to provide support fulltime. Carrie started supporting CIOB PR and MAPM candidates in 2021.
​
Carrie knows better than most the challenges with achieving chartership success - being third time lucky in her journey to get there - seeing the challenges first hand at larger organisations as well as smaller companies.
​
Carrie is passionate about individual's career development whether they are part of a larger outfit or as an individual.

The Fun Factor
Being a Chartered Professional, is a serious business. Getting there though, doesn't have to be dull.
At Stabler and Guy Ltd, we love fun and flare. That's why we've worked hard to bring the Fun Factor to our Chartership support programmes. Contracts don't have to be contrary, buildings really aren't boring - it's all in the development (like what we did there?).
Stabler and Guy Ltd have developed a number of games and fun ways to conduct Question and Answer sessions along with topical workshops to engage individuals and make learning and revision, a little less dry.
